I find that many lessons trying to be taught for one reason often end up being confused or mutated somewhere in the delivery of said lesson and become a whole new moral for us to learn. Lessons are taught and swallowed but the never seem to stop. Even when I thought that they were supposed to stop they never did. It's one of those things in life that no one really ever tells you about, except maybe in some congratulatory high school graduation card that you didn't bother to read anyway. Even then, the way the lesson about how lessons never stop is never actually stated, but refined and condensed into some cheap catch phrase, so even if you did read the crappy card that your aunt sent to you instead of giving you cash, the lesson about lessons might still have never quite made it through your skull.

That is the most important lesson: they don't stop, even if you want them to. Unfortunately most lessons are comprehended far too late. Say, after you've had your heart ripped out of your chest by some jerk, or after you touched the electric fence anyway, even though the sign said not to. The point in lessons is not to poke fun at you universally, even though that sometimes is what seems like they're trying to do. Hopefully the next time you won't touch the electric fence.

That is the hope: that people will learn. Learning is what expands us as human beings and tries to make us who we want to become. But, most learning is only caused by comprehension or some sort of revelation. Sometimes we yearn for this moment where everything makes sense, other times we don't. But either way, they'll come or won't, and either way you must take them as they hit you in the stomach and just keep going. People around you will change. You will change. I will change. Sometimes, for the worse and sometimes for the better. But the only time that we can make ourselves change for the better is if we want to.

That want is what fuels us to the true goodness of which we are capable. And with that want you make your own world. The lessons you receive and comprehend are the ones that influence decisions.

Pay attention.

That is the lesson.

I think everything can be solved with a good hot cup of something: tea, coffee, sake, Hugh Jackman -anything. :tea:

I've read a few of your works; you're a very good writer!

“What’s the fun in that! I say we spy.” Sirius said with a look an his face that suggested that he thought he was particularly clever.

“Second” James said.

Remus sighed “Lily?”

“Yes Remus?”

“Why do we like those two idiots again?”

No problem. A lot of it's really connectable, and it's also a unique style of writing.
